Porchline began with a simple belief: home shapes the way we live, heal, and show up in the world. As a life long Houstonian, mom of four, and former luxury retail + bespoke stationery business owner, Lauren Brod founded Porchline after her own family walked through seasons of hospital stays with her son. It shifted how she viewed home and the integral role it has in shaping us. Porchline now exists to help families find homes that support the lives they’re building and the stories they’re living.

Porchline was born from the belief that home is more than a place - it’s a stabilizing force in the seasons when life feels anything but stable. For our family, home carried us through long hospital stays, uncertain diagnoses, and the everyday chaos of raising four kids. It grounded us and shaped us. We saw firsthand how the right home supports healing, community, and the daily rhythms that define a family’s life.

Today, that conviction guides everything I do: helping others find the kind of spaces that hold them through the beautiful, messy, and meaningful.

My background in luxury retail and bespoke wedding stationery taught me to see the details that make something feel personal and elevated. My faith and our family’s journey medical journey taught me what home truly means.

I bring that blend - design, heart, clarity, and resilience - into every step of the real estate process. My goal is simple: to help families find the place that supports who they are and who they’re becoming.
